A cowardous Nation

In the 40s the Swedish gouverment let the Nazi regime of Germany transport their troops by train over Swedish territory on the way to the occupied Norway - Swedens sister country on the Scandinavian peninsula. The shame of doing so have followed us during the rest of the 20th century and the waves of debate about courage has some times raged highly. Now in this day, sixty years later, another Swedish Social democrat gouverment has forgot our history once again. The same regime that, under Prime minister Göran Persson, gave Swedish school children the book "Lets´not forget about this" (my translation) about the Second World War and the Hollocaust now give secret permission to the CIA to land on Swedish airfields with their prisoners on route to the Guantanamo base. It is true - We are a very cowardous nation. And surely - with a short memory.
