Putin the new Stalin?

So, Putin is so scared of democratic competition he has to send the oligarch and politician Michail Chodorkovskij all the way to Sibiria? What is really democratic with the Russian democracy? Three years ago, another of the threats to Putins power - general and gouvernour Alexander Lebed - died in a very suspicious helicoptercrasch. There is something fishy about the way that the opposition to Kremls ruling class dissapears all the time. When will Russia take the step out of the Tsarist and Bolshevik fixation of killing and sending their political adversaries?
